Floyd Veterans Day Parade set for November 8
On behalf of all the Floyd Veterans, VFW Post #7854 is inviting the community to the Floyd Veterans Day Parade. The parade, which will be held on Sunday, November 8, will begin at 3 p.m. and will follow the traditional parade route.
Organizations are invited to enter the parade. Plaques for the most patriotic entry and best decorated float will be given.

Parade participants will assemble beginning at 2 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home.
The Floyd County Woman’s Club will be hosting a USO type canteen. The ladies will be providing hot coffee and hot cider. They will also have home baked goods, such as brownies, cakes and cookies.
