Herb Series, Part 1 – Christina D’Eno: The People’s Medicine: How to Create a Family Medicine Chest
Sunday, November 8, 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Jessie Peterman Memorial Library

Floyd’s Wild Edible and Organic Gardening Club is offering 3 skill-share workshops over the winter months with a focus on medicinal herbs. Local experts will share their knowledge and expertise. In the first presentation, you will learn how to make and collect what you need for common ailments; make tinctures, infusions and oils from plants that can be purchased locally; use common yard plants and foods and spices from the kitchen to deal with colds, flu, indigestion and more. Christina is empirically trained in herbal medicine, formally trained in classical homeopathy and is a licensed midwife. Her presentation will be followed by a pot-luck meal so please bring your own plates and utensils and good food to share.
