Plein Air Art Weekend, 3 Days of Art

Plein Air Art Weekend is an event you won’t want to miss if you are an art lover! Join fellow national and regional painters for a weekend of plein air painting in the beautiful Floyd, Virginia.
The weekend highlights included:
Friday, Sept. 11th there will be a Meet the Artists Reception in the Tasting Room where you can meet the artists, enjoy some light hors’ d’oeuvres and complimentary wine tastings.
Saturday (Sept. 12) will be a day of painting and demonstrations in and around the winery grounds. Box lunches will be available.
Sunday (Sept. 13) morning will begin the Quick Draw Competition with judging at noon followed by a Grand Prize Ceremony and Sunday Sounds where the artists will be set up to sell their artwork.!
The Grand Prize of the Quick Draw Competition:
The winning painting will be displayed on Special Edition bottling, which will be done immediately following the ceremony. Other prizes include art supply gift certificates, winery gift certificates, and much more!
Participating artists will also be given the opportunity to sell their weekend works to art patrons during Sunday Sounds on the winery courtyard.
