The Pea Pickin’ Hearts cast a spell with their quirky Americana mashup of country, rockabilly, folk & hillbilly tunes in a sound that pays homage to 1940s & 50s Appalachia. Gibson & Ives create unique harmonies that only develop after years of listening–one to the other. Their name is a tribute to both Tennessee Ernie Ford’s famous line “bless your pea pickin’ heart” and the love they share for their Tennessee home.
The Pea Pickin’ Hearts released a folk-inspired CD, “Creekwood Crow” (August 2014) and spend their days touring the eastern United States. Currently crashing-testing new songs for an upcoming EP, be sure check out their calendar at PeaPickinHearts.com to find them on the road!
