Halloween FUN is happening in Floyd VA with activities for children, families and adults.
Fri/Sat evenings in October & 1st weekend Nov.
Actor Cameron Woodruff will take you on a one hour walking tour around the Jacksonville Cemetery and the center of the town of Floyd, Virginia. Whether you are new to the area or have lived here for a long time, you will still find out things about Floyd that you never knew; audacious stories of moonshiners (living ones and ghostly ones), haunted buildings in town, ghostly legends of Buffalo Mountain and more. Find out about our link to famous people: Edgar Allen Poe, revolutionary Patrick Henry, and Civil War general J.E.B. Stuart. No one will jump out at you... he’ll just scare you with the truth!
Regularly scheduled tours meet under the Artisan's Pavilion and take place in October and the first weekend of November; Friday and Saturday night at 6 PM, 7PM and 8PM. If you have more than 4 people, you can schedule a private tour any time of the year by calling 540-230-4862.
RAIN or SHINE. No reservations required for the regularly scheduled tours. $13 per person
