In Virginia, it’s easy to see just how much we love LOVE. From the iconic “Virginia is for Lovers” slogan to more than 300 LOVEworks signs across the Commonwealth, LOVE is on display in communities everywhere, and Floyd proudly leads the way.
Floyd County is home to the highest concentration of LOVEworks in any one county in Virginia, with 15 unique installations spread throughout our town and countryside. Each one reflects the creativity, character, and community spirit that make Floyd so special.
As part of Virginia’s statewide LOVEworks Trail, these signs invite visitors to slow down, explore, and capture a photo in front of each one. Many were designed and built by local artists, businesses, and organizations, meaning no two LOVEworks are alike. From bold and artistic interpretations to nature-inspired designs, each stop tells its own story about Floyd.
You never know where you might find LOVE in Floyd...some signs are tucked inside businesses, others are located along scenic drives, and a few are hidden in places you might not expect. That’s part of the fun of the trail.
