Youth Classical Concert in Floyd

VBRMF to Hold Youth Concert of Classical Music
Promoting classical music, Virginia’s Blue Ridge Music Festival will sponsor a Youth Concert at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11th, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Floyd.
The ages of the participants range from twelve to twenty-one. Representing the Floyd Music School are Sami Shannon, Andre Shannon, Shayley Martin, Eli Wildman and Aila Wildman, who will be performing on piano, mandolin and violin. Their teachers are Mike Mitchell and Jennifer Brooke.
Voice students of Steve Lawrence are Natashia Danis and Savannah Mihalo. Elizabeth Shelor and David Smith will perform on violin and cello from Community Cello Works, taught by Lisa Liske-Doorandish.
Refreshments will be served after the concert in the fellowship hall.
Admission is free but donations to the VBRMF are welcome for the support of further concerts and scholarships for our youth. Please come show your support while enjoying fine music, food and fellowship
