Writing for Publication with Tom Moates

Tom Moates is a leading equestrian author and journalist, and the owner of Spinning Sevens Press, a small book publisher based here in Floyd County. Tom will share the ins-and-outs of publishing in this informal discussion: from query letters to literary agents, self-publishing to marketing, e-books to contracts, and much more. Tom is a full-time writer who enjoys sharing what he knows with other aspiring writers to provide them a leg-up when he can. He graduated from George Mason University’s writing program in 1991, and since then has published seven books—his eighth is to be released this month—and more than 500 articles in magazines and newspapers in the U.S., U.K., and Australia.
