Writer’s Jam

Writer’s Jam for those who are seeking inspiration about writing.

Everyone who loves to write or who would like some practice at it is invited to join this group which meets the 3rd Saturday of every month.

Do you like words? Do you enjoy combining words in a variety of ways until they result in a story? Would you welcome an opportunity to flex your creative muscles amongst like-minded individuals and have some writerly fun? Visit the Floyd Library to explore a monthly writing prompt. We’ll all start with the same idea and we’ll jam on it for a spell and see what we come up with. It’s a “Writer’s Jam!”

Our next Writer’s Jam will take place on Saturday, July 16, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of Jessie Peterman Memorial Library.

This is a monthly opportunity for writers to get together, have a writing prompt and stretch their minds for a bit. There is no commitment and walk-ins will be welcome each month!
