Wine & Art Reception at the Hotel Floyd, sponsored by the Floyd Center for the Arts

Inside the “Floyd Center for the Arts Gallery” at the Hotel Floyd, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Friday, September 13, 2019, this Wine and Art Reception will feature Mark Cox, a wildlife artist, as well as jewelry artist, Julie Arrington, and pottery artist, Hannah Martin. At about 6:00, Tim & Julie Block from our featured local winery, Villa Appalaccia, will give a short talk, followed by a gallery talk by the wall artist, Mark Cox. After a 10 minute break, our pottery artist, Hannah Martin, and jewelry artist, Julie Arrington will also tell about their art.

These FCA “Wine & Art” Receptions (which are free and open to the public), will also be offering for sale that night, not only the art on exhibit, but also the Italian inspired wines of Villa Appalaccia, by the glass &/or by the bottle.

Work by this rotation of local artists will be on exhibit and for sale at the Hotel Floyd not only on the night of the Reception but also for the following two months, when the next Wine & Art Reception will take place, which is on the 2nd Friday of every other month, from 5-7 p.m. at the Hotel Floyd.

All FCA Wine & Art Receptions are held at the Hotel Floyd inside their beautiful “Floyd Center for the Arts Gallery” (across from the main desk inside the Hotel Floyd). The Receptions are open to the public and include FREE appetizers, a no-host wine bar, and the opportunity to interact with the artists and wine staff from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
