What is Justice? Where is Mercy?

Join us at the June Bug Center to watch and witness original scenes inspired by Bryan Stevenson’s book “Just Mercy” and our course on the criminal justice system. Written and performed by Springhouse students.

Students took inspiration from the book and our explorations during this course to craft scenes that point to insights gained and questions that have arisen. There will be space for an audience talk-back after the performance. A goal of this performance is to get close to the realities of mass incarceration.

We want our learning at Springhouse to be in service to our community by inspiring meaningful reflections on issues of justice and liberation, in service to life and a deeper understanding of our interconnectedness and shared humanity.
