Valentine’s Dinner and Dance with Katie & The Bubbatones

Join us for a Valentine’s Dinner with your sweetie & friends!  We will be serving up a dinner and dessert plate of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes, fresh garden salad, sweet peas & carrots, locally grown pickled beets, dinner roll, and of course an irresistible chocolate torte with raspberry sauce for dessert. Dinner includes iced tea, coffee and water. Dinner is $12.95 per person and will be served 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM. Tickets are needed in advance for dinner and are available in the store or online.

Katie and the Bubbatones began entertaining dancers at the Floyd Country Store with their high energy brand of old time stringband music in 1998. The Bubbatones include Kathleen O’Connell on fiddle, Russ Boyd on banjo, John Hollandsworth on guitar/autoharp and Kathie Hollandsworth on bass and vocals. Eddie Ogle adds another dimension to our music on vocals, harmonica, guitar and uke. Based in Montgomery County, Virginia, the band has won first place at several local and regional fiddlers’ conventions. They enjoy playing for benefits, museum events, school programs, and in-house concerts. Clearly evident in their music is their enjoyment of playing for dancers.
