The Comptons
The Comptons are a local favorite bluegrass-gospel family group who regularly perform at the Friday Night Jamboree and across Southwest Virginia. The group includes Clinton, Roger and Darrell Compton, Patrick Robertson, Barry Collins, Jesse Smathers and Allen Surface in an excellent representation of the classic bluegrass-gospel genre. Their new album, Love Never Dies, features tasteful bluegrass instrumentation and beautiful vocal harmonies.
