“When Someone You Love Moves On” Free Talk
March 5, 2016 : 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Do you feel stuck around grieving the loss of someone you loved? Has a relationship ended outside of you that still lives on within you? Or maybe you are wondering how to be helpful around others who are grieving a loss.
It is now understood that the grieving process is enormously broad. We really all grieve in our very own unique and personal way and have this incredible resilience around moving on. In times where we do feel stuck, the relational skills of Focusing give us the tools we need to support our own grieving process as well as that of others we are close to. We’ll begin by exploring the biggest gift any of us can gift ourselves or others – the simple gift of Presence and next, how to move forward from there.
Join Sandy Jahmi Burg, Certified Focusing Trainer, for this FREE one hour talk around Focusing skills and the grieving process. The program begins at 10:30am on Saturday, March 5 in the Community Room at the Jesse Peterman Memorial Library in Floyd. The library is located at 321 West Main Street across from the Food Lion in Floyd. RSVP is appreciated though not necessary.
The program will be repeated over a telephone conference line the same day, Saturday, March 5, at 1:30pm EST. You can call in from any phone line from wherever you are. This does not use data, only phone minutes. Contact Ms. Burg at 540-552-0203 if you would like to register to attend the teleconference. Registration is requested.
