Rocky Knob Picnic Area Clean Up

The Blue Ridge Parkway will be hosting a volunteer workday at the Rocky Knob Picnic Area on Saturday May 31st, 2025 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. It will be a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and fresh mountain air while helping the National Park Service get ready for the 2025 season!
We will be picking up branches and sticks, raking leaves, cleaning grills, and cleaning picnic tables. Bring your work gloves, a rake, water, a snack, yourself and a friend. Wear closed toe shoes or boots.
The Rocky Knob Picnic Area is located behind the Visitor Information Station at Milepost 169 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Please park in the parking lot behind the Visitor Information Station.
