Join the Handmade Music School for a group banjo, fiddle, and guitar class series with Mac Traynham, Jamie Collins, and Sophie Moeckel! This class meets at The Floyd Country Store from 6:30-8:00 PM once a week for four weeks on Wednesday evenings beginning January 17th. The cost is $90 for 4 weeks.
This group class is geared towards adult players (16 and older) who know the basics on their instrument are ready to learn more tunes and techniques. This class has a focus on regional old time styles, tunes and history, and how to play with community and learn by ear. This is a great second class if you took Getting Started on Banjo, Fiddle, and Guitar with the Handmade Music School or have taken a few lessons or workshops.
Your instructors are Mac Traynham (banjo), Jamie Collins (guitar), and Sophie Moeckel (fiddle).
