Sunday 9am-3pm- Free Outdoor Painting Session + Farm Tour Day
Get outside the studio! Experience plein aire painting, or painting outdoors, at the beautiful Riverstone Organic Farm. The weekend is full of creative time, personal instruction, fresh food, and artist camaraderie. Join Joli Ayn Wood for a morning of formal instruction on Saturday. Arrive early in order to catch the morning light. Wood will provide demonstrations, instructional exercises, and one on one attention throughout the morning. The afternoon and the following day are available for students to continue work on their painting at the farm. The class is open to all skill levels and media. Joli Ayn Wood is an active and successful regional plein aire painter, and graduate of the University of Richmond with a degree in art history, studio art, and ancient art. Farm fresh lunch on Saturday is included in the class fee.
