The Floyd Center for the Arts “Author’s & Artists’ Reception at the Hotel Floyd”

From 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Friday, November 9th at the Hotel Floyd, the Floyd Center for the Arts will be featuring 3 local artists -and- one local author.

All FCA Artists’ & Author’s Receptions are held inside the beautiful “Floyd Center for the Arts Gallery” (across from the main desk of the Hotel Floyd). The Receptions are open to the public and include free refreshments, a no-host beer & wine bar, and the opportunity to interact with the artists and the author.

On November 9th, our featured local artists will be: Jewelry Artist, Susan Brickhouse; Wall Artist, Jessie Benson; and Sculpture Artist, Kathleen Dawe. Also from 6:15-6:30 p.m., Joyce Hill Esterhuizen, the featured local author on November 9, will be giving a little presentation about her children’s book, “A Penny In My Pocket.”

Work by each rotation of local artists and local authors will be on exhibit and for sale at the Hotel Floyd the night of the Reception and for the following two months, when the next Artists’ & Author’s Reception will take place, which is on the 2nd Friday, every other month, from 5-7 p.m. at the Hotel Floyd.
