Join Dogtown for a concert by Music Road Co, one of the NRVs premier bands! Music Road Co combines members of the bands Spoon Fight and The Color J with a dynamic horn section into a hot dance band with elements of rock, reggae, funk and fun for your dancing and listening pleasure.
Core band members, Luke Thomas (vocals and guitar), Janiah Allen (vocals and bass), Jake Thomas (drums), Deborah Tome (trombone & percussion), and Abby Thomas (vocals & percussion) cite influences including John Brown’s Body, Bob Marley, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, The Black Seeds and Soulive. Combined with a soulful horn section and brilliant keyboard work, this band really shines. Their performances combine polished musicianship and skillful songwriting with an obvious love for their craft, leaving fans unable to leave the dance floor.
