Mayfaire – Art & Craft Fair

May 4, 2019 : 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 11:00 am, repeating until May 5, 2019

On Saturday and Sunday May 4 and 5, 2019, the Center’s grounds will be transformed into an old-time town square, complete with an artisan market, food vendors, live music, artisan demos, maypole dances, kids’ activities and more, for our 2nd Annual Mayfaire! All are welcome to join in this family-friendly free event, which includes art and craft vendors, live music, artisan demonstrations, kids’ activities and lots more. “We are so excited to host the community for our Second Annual Mayfaire!” says Becky Lattuca, the Center’s Director of Programming, “Last year we decided we really wanted to have an outdoor event showcasing the area’s creative talents, but we wanted it to be more than just an art and craft sale – we wanted it to be an interactive, fun and festive gathering that all ages would enjoy. So, during the cold, dreary days of winter while longing for the warmth and color of springtime, we decided a Mayfaire would be the perfect way to get together and celebrate our creative community!”

In addition to dozens of art and craft vendors, there will be free entertainment, activities and artisan demonstrations throughout the weekend.

UPDATE:
GIVE PEACE A DANCE dance troupe will perform at 11:30am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday! Kids’ Maypole lesson and dance to follow each performance.
