Guitar & Fiddle Making & Jamming

Come visit luthier Mike Mears at Windy Hill Guitarworks and tour his shop, view instruments made and in progress and join in on a jam session.
Windy Hill Guitarworks will be open from 10am to 4pm each day June 9-11 and June 16-17
Mike Mears has made more than 300 steel string acoustic guitars and has taught guitar making for 15 years. He also studied with Arthur Cooper, Copper Hill VA fiddle maker for the past 4 years in fiddle design and construction of 15 fiddles. There is a large (12 ft. by 28 ft.) picking porch which is covered and overlooks the Little River that is available for impromptu jamming throughout the day. The studio is a working production shop and showroom with ADA access and parking for about 20 vehicles.
