WORKSHOP ORGANIZERS
This intensive weekend session is led by Thom and Midge Stanton, co-founders of GoTiny. Since 2013, Thom and Midge have provided conceptual design services for small structures that frequently include cabins, cottages, tiny homes, and accessory dwelling units.
The couple downsized from a 2,000 square foot home and have lived as “full-timers” for the last three years. Among many other tiny credits, Thom is currently President of the Tiny Home Industry Association, Virginia’s State Chapter Leader for the American Tiny House Association, and is leading the Uniform Compliance Initiative to standardize design, inspection, and construction of Tiny Homes as residential structures, recreational living spaces, and emergency housing solutions.
The Stantons love to share their passion for tiny homes, and offer this course to help future tiny home owners make more objectively informed decisions on ways to simplify, streamline, and intensify their interests in tiny home design, planning, and construction.
