Floyd Jamboree–Evening Trip

Come explore Floyd’s Jamboree! The Jamboree is a kind of happening that is hard to find anymore: musicians coming together to play just for the love of the music, and people getting together just for the fun of it. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget.
We will meet at River’s Edge Northside Parking Lot at 3:45 pm to depart on our 1-hour drive to Floyd. Once we arrive in Floyd, we will start our evening with dinner at Dogtown Roadhouse which is known for their fantastic food-fired pizzas. Following dinner, we will get our tickets to the Jamboree, and you’ll then be free to explore this little town and enjoy the live music! Not only will the music be happening on-stage, but during the warmer months, the Jamboree becomes something of a miniature fiddler’s convention, with bands playing in the alleys, driveways and parking lots. The music comes to an end around 10:30 pm, so after you have had your fill of festivities, we will travel back to Roanoke and aim to arrive before 12:00 am. This evening trip includes the cost admission and roundtrip transportation to and from Roanoke. Dinner and additional purchases not included. Trip cost is $10 per person, and space is limited!
