You do not want to miss this fun, fast, and folly-filled event!
We begin with a “street fair” at four PM, and then the show starts at six thirty.
There’s always a colorful cast of characters, chances to shine, contests to win, and games to play. Plus, an incredible auction, and of course, our well-received and talent-filled show itself, the Firefly Fling!

Have a talent to share or an act to perform? This is your venue!
The Firefly Fling is not just your run-of-the-mill talent show. The past two years have proven yet again how wonderfully artistic and creative our community is – and how willing they are to work together for a worthy cause.

And as far as the worthy cause? Rising Sun Community School is a fledgling Montessori school here in Floyd, located on the campus of the Jacksonville Center for the Arts. We are on the verge of great things and we serve many families and children in our area. We are peace-based, child-centered, and formative education for the heart and the mind.
