Floyd Earth Week

Join the fun! We do love our beautiful home in the mountains, so we need at least a whole week to celebrate Earth Day. Floyd organizations, library, businesses, schools, churches and individuals will be offering special nature activities and special deals throughout the week to share with our community. Saturday April 20 most activities will be focused downtown in and near Lineberry Park, culminating with the Appalachian Species Giant Puppet Parade from 1:00 – 3:00 followed by celebrating Partnership for Floyd’s 20th anniversary with a free ice cream social!
