Instructions for sharing successful seeds:
-Please check the seed viability chart against the age of your seeds here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/floydcountyseedexchange/permalink/790297391318808/.
-Be sure to bring seeds that were properly isolated from cross-pollination with related plants. If you bought your seeds from any seed company, they will have taken care of this but you can learn to do it in your own garden with the fantastic book Seed to Seed by Suzanne Ashworth, which you can read for free (!!) at https://books.google.com/books/about/Seed_to_Seed.html?id=Wb-KAgAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=kp_read_button#v=onepage&q&f=false.
-Please bring seeds that were stored for viability (air tight containers in the fridge are a simple way to store most seeds).
-It is also helpful to provide information such as seed source (yourself or your buddy Steve or a seed company), year saved, variety name, and any other characteristics, recipes, or stories you’d like to share.
-There will be some envelopes provided, but bringing your own is strongly encouraged!
Looking forward to seeing you there!!
