The Floyd Contra Dance hosts its last dance of the season with NC contra dance band Rip the Calico and Indianapolis caller , Ken Gall.
You’ll hear Alison Arnold on flute; Gordon Arnold on banjo and cello; Mairead Brady on fiddle; and Tyler Johnson on banjo, guitar and mandolin.
Ken Gall is well known for happy, high-spirited calling and has a wide dance repertoire. He will teach and call each dance as well as conduct a pre-dance lesson.
Treat yourself to an evening of easy, relaxed fun with lots of smiles and live music. All dance figures are taught by the caller, and there’s a free lesson at 6:30 before each 7:00 pm dance.
