Floyd Contra Dance

Catch the fun with this adventurous NC band, a hall full of friendly dancers, and the magic of this long-standing community event. Dance with caller Valerie Helbert and “Celtic Fun,” North Carolina music-makers Eileen Regan and Tim Smith and lively Celtic-inspired music from New England and Canada. Floyd Center for the Arts, Floyd. 6:35 p.m. lesson, 7 p.m. dance. $8 admission.
