Description Below:
It’s Christmas Eve and everything seems to be warm and cheerful in the Helmer household. The Helmers have 3 lovely children and Torvald Helmer was just made manager of the bank come the new year!
Right away Helmer tries to “clean house” at the bank be relieving Nils Krogstad, who tries to win back his position by blackmailing Helmer’s wife, Nora.
Torvald accuses Nora to be a spendthrift, but really she has been paying off a loan in small installments from her allowance that her husband gives her. She secretly go this loan in order to save her husband’s life when he was ill.
Now Krogstad is threatening to reveal to her husband all about the loan and her crime. However, Nora becomes less and less afraid and finds a different woman as the play goes on. Through these incidents and interacting with other pivotal characters, she becomes stronger than she ever has been.
Now she is just searching for the most wonderful thing of all…
