Dine for a Cause/ Building on Values

Haden Polseno-Hensley, co-founder of the Red Rooster Coffee, will describe the challenges and triumphs of doing business in Floyd County, and why he and his partner Rose McCutchen have chosen to pursue a certified organic, fair-trade, environmentally conscious business model. He will share his vision for Red Rooster, how they balance Wholesale accounts and on-line sales while maintaining a devoted local following.

Red Rooster will provide a variety of coffees for tasting and describe the process of buying, roasting and blending coffees from around the world.
The presentation will be preceded by our traditional beans and rice dinner, a cash bar and an update on the activities of Sustain Floyd
