Join us for the third annual celebration of the Check Farm Trail! This family-friendly experience is an up-close chance to learn about agriculture through demonstrations, tastings, and farm tours, including plants and animals. Plant ID walks and tours of our medicinal herb farm and cordwood masonry herb processing center between the hours of 10am-4pm. Our farm is on a hillside. Kat the Farmer / 407 Diamond Knob Road, Check, VA 24072

The ¼ acre woman-run salad-centric farm. Walking tours launch at 10:00am and 12:00pm. Learn about natural methods of pest and disease control, hand tool demonstrations, seedling nursery basics, and growing microgreens, as well as all Kat’s secrets to salad greens that last for weeks! Lil Valley Farm / 8318 Huff Mill Rd SE, Copper Hill, 24079

Lil Valley Farm is a Pick Your Own (PYO) farm, open from 10am-2pm. Come learn about how we do things! Plus field games for the family: Corn hole, Yard Yahtzee & more! Seven Spring’s Farm CSA / 424 Jerry Lane NE, Check, VA 24072

Hay Wagon Tours with Farmer Sledge: 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Farm open from 10:30am-4:30pm. See a regenerative livestock operation in person!  Meet our pasture and animals who graze upon it.
