Contest Entry Categories
• Essay (500-1000 words)
• Poem (50-250 words)
• Song (2-5 minutes)

WHO? Open to all residents of Floyd, Patrick and Carroll Counties. Two age groups: under age 18, 18 years of age and older.

WHAT? A contest followed by a public celebration at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb 18

WHEN? All contest entries must be received by midnight, February 7, 2017. Where? Floyd Ecovillage, 188 Ecovillage Trail, Floyd, VA.

*Prizes*
$100 in each category in each age group. There will be special prizes of three hours of recording time at Windfall Studios in Floyd (a $90 value) for the “runner-up” songs in each age group.
