Blackwater Mojo at Dogtown

Blackwater Mojo is a bare bones blues-rock duo from the heart of the Appalachian hill country. Well known for high energy performances, driving rhythms, and distinct sound, this duo has no trouble filling the room in a way one would expect from a band twice their size.

Featuring a powerful and dynamic lead vocalist (Erin Young) and a slide guitarist turned one man rhythm section (Seth Young), Blackwater Mojo seamlessly interweaves the raw emotion of the delta blues with the warmth and richness of an old time string band. Not to be confused with preservationists, their unapologetic approach to American roots music makes them sound at once vintage and modern.
