Dogtown’s popular weekly Open Mic Night every Sunday has attracted a hugely talented group of performers. This will be our second best of Open Mic Night events, where the hosts have selected some of their favorite performers to all come together for a great evening of music.
As was done last time, the event will be recorded to produce a CD that will be sold with proceeds going to benefit the Floyd County Music Lab youth music education program, run by The June Bug Center in Floyd, in conjunction with The Jefferson Center in Roanoke. Copies of the Best of Open Mic Night, Vol. 1 will be available to purchase during the event. The CD recorded at this event, Volume 2, will be available in the spring at Dogtown.
