Ash Devine CD Release Party at Dogtown

Local Songwriter Ash Devine performs with Bass player F.M Turner
at Sun Music Hall at Dogtown Roadhouse in Floyd, VA at 7pm.
F.M Turner and Ash Devine have been playing together for over 17 years, their connection on stage is sweet and powerful. The songs are beautiful, engaging for the audience and with a slight activist twist, reminiscent of Pete Seeger and Joan Baez. The folk-based style blends Appalachian Traditional, jazz, world music and audience participation.
Ash Devine was born in Blacksburg, VA and launched her music career in the New River Valley as a youth almost 17 years ago. Ash, who now lives in Asheville, NC and identifies as a community based artist, is releasing her second full length album titled “Blessings On Your Journey” co-produced by F.M Turner. Ash is a unique artist. She works as a professional theater artist, songwriter, musician and hospital clown. Over the past fifteen years, Ash has performed in nursing homes, schools, hopsice,
hospitals, music festivals and community events and has traveled internationally with MD and Clown
Activist Patch Adams. Local bass player F.M Turner, co-produced both of Ash Devine’s albums and will be joining Ash for the party at Dogtown Roadhouse and Sun Musical Hall in Floyd, VA on Thursday April 30th at 7pm . Ash Devine and F.M Turner have been playing together for almost 15
