Another Roadside Attraction at Dogtown – Sat Feb 13 – 8 pm – $3

From Roanoke, VA, this husband and wife duo perform mostly original songs on a myriad of eclectic instruments: from the Mexican guitarron, to a variety of ukuleles, to the haunting musical saw, and a homemade recycled percussion setup. Lucy and Jordan have been playing since January 2010 in listening rooms and festivals, on sidewalks and libraries, classrooms and pool halls – over one hundred venues in ten states. As performers they are lively and engaging, definitely the kind of show you must see! The songs are distinctive, stories and tall tales, a glimpse into the dreams they dream; some of them are funny some are sad, but all are interesting in the different textures they evoke from their collection of strings and things.
