Annual Floyd Rotary Chili Cookoff

This event is a fundraiser for Floyd County EMS Department. Floyd Volunteer Fire Department, and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department. These three organizations will compete with each other for best chili bragging rights as determined by a panel of pre-selected judges as well as the People’s Choice award. The general public is invited to purchase one dollar tickets to use for voting for their favorite chili. Free chili tastings with drinks and ice cream for sale. Donations encouraged. Tasting starts at 5pm and judging starts at 6pm. Please note that three organizations are the only ones bringing chili to be judged. The Chili Cookoff is part of a larger event at the same site = Citizens Coop’s Free Community Concert.
