Floyd County Emergency teams (Fire, Ambulance, Sheriff) , New River Valley Emergency Services, Red Cross and other important organizations will be presenting demonstrations, information and panel discussions FREE for our community. After Hurricane Helene and other recent disasters, it is clear we could be better prepared, especially in rural communities like ours, where we might be isolated from services. This is a very special opportunity to get to know those who help us when times are tough and learn how we can better prepare ourselves to thrive together in these changing times.
