After School “STEAM” program at the June Bug Center

FLOYD, Va. (WDBJ) Next month there will be an after school program for kids in Floyd County to take part in “STEAM” activities.
STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art and math.
The June Bug Center allows kids grades 3 -12 to enjoy programs like folk music, classical music, theater and Lego Club. The center’s director says their program wants to help foster new talent.
“We do that through music, performing arts, martial arts, gymnastics, anything that’s performing or STEAM based, like robotics or engineering.,” executive director, Emily Gruver said.
