9th Annual Floyd County Antique Tractor Fun Run

The Floyd County Tractor Fun Run began one Summer day in 2006 while Larry and Dale were returning from a tractor ride in a nearby county. The two were discussing the ride and commenting that there needs to be a tractor ride in Floyd Virginia. They wanted this ride to be more than just a bunch of antique tractors riding down the road. They wanted this event to be of benefit to the Community so they agreed that all monies would be donated to a local charity. Since the Floyd County Tractor Fun Run began in August 2007, it has collected and donated over $22,000.00.
The Charities that have benefited from these Rides are Medical Charities of Floyd County Inc., Women’s Resource Center of the NRV,and Floyd County Young Life, and Cancer Research.

Start polishing those tractors! The 9th Annual Floyd County Tractor Fun Runwill be on Aug 15th 2015. So far, we have a lot planned!
During the 9:00am Registration, while everyone is arriving and getting themselves registered, we have the trackless train for the little ones. We also have two bouncing toys. Coffee and donuts are also available. Maybe a few new surprises!!!
We are planning a wonderful lunch that will be waiting for you at the West Farm. After lunch, there will be plenty of time for fellowship and to share your tractor stories and maybe even brag a little. For our lunch break entertainment we are ecstatic to have Floyd County’s very own Back Porch Cloggers and coming back again the Gravel Road Bluegrass Band Click on the links below to learn more about these very talented groups, you for sure will not want to miss them.

Just be at Arlie Thompson’s by 9am to register, pay the $15.00 registration fee and get your wristband, then you will be ready to go. Space is limited for wagon riders so it will be on a first come first seated basis.
