Kat The Farmer

Kat The Farmer's tiny salad-centric farmstand is a local food lover's outpost for sourcing amazing salad greens, vegetables, prepared salads, and homemade dressing.

Based on a 1/4 acre farm in Check, Kat Johnson grows her crops using all natural and organic materials and methods. Her produce can be purchased at the Farmstand and at the Blacksburg Farmers Market seasonally. Kat also provides online resources for fellow farmers including guides, online courses, videos and blog posts to share what she knows after growing food for over two decades.
