Enjoy a full day of in-depth instruction from the legendary Alice Gerrard. This vocal workshop will begin by delving into the stories and voices of the musicians and culture that paved the way for the traditional music of today. We will then apply that knowledge while learning tunes and songs with an emphasis on style. There will be opportunities to work with others in the class through harmony, duet or trio singing as well as solo work. Geared towards folks who already love to sing, this workshop is an opportunity to dig deeper into traditional music. If you play an instrument at an intermediate level or beyond, please bring it along.
