The Floyd Center for the Arts “Author’s & Artists’ Reception at the Hotel Floyd”

The Floyd Center for the Arts is announcing a change of the author planned for the Reception at the Hotel Floyd on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

On Nov. 10, our local author will be COLLEEN REDMAN, who will be giving a brief presentation (from 6:15-6:30) about her new book, ”Packing a Suitcase for the Afterlife.”

As originally planned, the local artists who will be featured are: Annie Armistead, Jewelry Artist; Rosalind Waiwaiole, Wall Artist; and Cory Potrafka, Pottery Artist.

This Artists’ and Author’s Reception is open to the public, includes free refreshments and a no-host beer & wine bar, plus the opportunity to interact with the author and the artists, as well as make purchases.

Work by each rotation of local artists and local authors will be on exhibit and for sale at the Hotel Floyd for the following two months, when the next Artists’ & Author’s Reception will take place, which is on the 2nd Friday, every other month, from 5-7 p.m. at the Hotel Floyd.
