From Classical to Jazz

The Floyd Center for the Arts welcomes “From Classical to Jazz” a special performance on Saturday, October 7th at 7:30. The concert features one of the pillars of chamber music for strings and winds, the Brahms Clarinet quintet. Also on the program is a clarinet quintet by Serbian composer and clarinetist Ante Grigin, highly regarded in his county. Performers for the evening include Avanti Ensemble Members David Ehrlich, violin, and Benjamin Wyatt, cello and Rami Solomon, violist from Chicago, Nikola Djuria, clarinetist from Belgrade, Serbia and Sibbi Berhardsson, former member of the Pacifica Quartet, now faculty at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. There will be a reception following the performance. Tickets are $25.00 in advance, $15.00 for Students.
