Town of Floyd presents “A Small Town Summer” in Warren G. Lineberry Park

FREEThe Town of Floyd is introducing “A Small Town Summer” this summer season. A series of free events taking place in The Warren G Lineberry Park throughout the summer months starting on Thursday, June 8th and concluding on August 31st, 2017.
The Town of Floyd is producing a series of free events designed to provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere in The Warren G Lineberry Park. These events will take place on alternating Thursdays from early June to the end of August and will feature, music, movies, and theater productions with lots of additional activities provided to highlight the park and community organizations.
August 3rd will be an “End of Summer” Celebration for all kids with a water-splash themed party which features lots of activities for kids to enjoy before the start of the school year. There will be local bluegrass from Statement and The Comptons plus the beautifully animated adventure, Finding Dory on the big screen in the park.
The Town of Floyd’s Small Town Summer Event Series is free and open to the public. Gates will be open and access provided to the public starting at 6 PM on all Floyd Small Town Summer events. Movies will begin when the sun goes down and other times for music and other activities will be listed on the website floydsmalltownsummer.com

At all Floyd Small Town Summer events there will be food vendors, community organizations, face painting, games, inflatables and fun activities for all ages! Some of the community organizations partnering to provide activities include: Plenty!, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Blue Mountain School, Younglife/Wyldlife, Floyd JAMs, FCHS Band Boosters, FCHS SCA, and others.
