Between the Rows of Corn @ The Old Church Gallery
June 10, 2017 : 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
FreeThis is part of the Crooked Road’s Mountains of Music Homecoming
The same plowed ground that provided corn and beans to generations of Floyd Countians is also a rich source of Indian artifacts. The 2017 Old Church Gallery exhibit surveys artifacts collected by gardeners and farmers throughout the county. From Clovis points to soapstone bowls, grinding stones to atlatls, these tools offer glimpses into the lives of the people who shaped and used them thousands of years ago.
