As Floyd’s first distillery since prohibition, Five Mile Mountain Distillery is using the same old recipes with traditional copper stills on open flames. Their batches of whiskey are handcrafted and kept small so they can ensure their product is known for the same quality as their predecessors. Now that it’s time to share the magic of Blue Ridge Mountains shine, they’re bottling up the love, history, and distinctive taste of Five Mile Mountain and putting it on the shelves for everyone to enjoy.

BMBC brews small batch beers on premise in a 2BBL brewhouse. Each brew day is a double batch, so 4BBL’s (approximately 1000 pints) of beer goes into each fermentation tank.
