Mountain Ways: Rock Castle Gorge Hike

Today’s hike is approximately 6 miles with the route going through forests, fields, and along the ridge at Rock Castle Gorge. About 3 miles of the hike will be along the original Appalachian Trail where we’ll visit one of the original AT shelters.
