Join us online on Thursday, April 22, Earth Day as herbalists and beekeepers unite in this exciting exploration of the dandelion and its wonderful healing properties. In this special online offering, we will be joining the natural world in celebration of the dandelion–the friendly gift that lets us know that the starving time has passed! We delight together in the warming sun as it shines on the Earth, calling forth the beautiful golden dandelions who christen our fields and give the first nectar flow of the season, supporting the swallowtail butterfly, the bumblebee queens, the honeybees, the ruby-throated hummingbird, and the human being. Hope you can join us to take part in these inspirations and share in an interactive, festive, community celebration of the spring and the dandelion! With sharing from our friends, Deb Soule, Sonomi Obinata, Sarah Shepherd, M Mueller, and many more!
Suggested donation: $15.00.
On Friday, April 23 we welcome you all to come on by the Sanctuary for a tour, to visit our gift shop, to enjoy free dandelion-themed snacks and refreshments, and to learn more about what we all can do to help support the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. We will have a large array of special pollinator plants for sale.
