April 4, 2020 : 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
In this hands-on workshop students will gain the skills, knowledge, and experience to create a haven for native woodland medicinal plants on their own property by working together to create a small forest garden plot start to finish. Laurie will cover reading the landscape, site selection, preparing the soil, tools, planting seeds / rootstock / rescued plants, water, protecting the plants, propagation, plant communities, companion planting, and more! Don’t have woods on your property? Laurie will also be sharing tips and ideas of how to create a woodland / shade garden.
